What is a Safe Yeast-Free Bread Alternative?
To be yeast free, bread is unleavened. Leavening is yeast. Unleavened bread is flat breads and crackers. Sourdough bread is often yeast-free because its made with bacterial culture instead of yeast, but since yeasts occur naturally in the flours that breads are made of, it is unlikely to be able to be able to bake a product that is completely free of yeast.
